What if you could feel great about your cooking oil choice, without compromising taste, quality or healthfulness? Meet Veri Brand Cooking Oil - a new oil innovation from Benson Hill - created using non-GMO soybeans grown in the USA that touts a clean, virtually non-existent taste and 10 grams of Omega-9 fatty acids per serving and stand up to high heat cooking.

Building a brand from the ground up requires a solid foundation, so we started by creating a strong logo, color palette and visual identity to bring Veri to life.

Based on the direction provided by Benson Hill and our own research, we identified the food-forward millennial as our target persona. The strong and simple design speaks to a desire for healthiness and simplicity.

With our target persona and brand mantra of permissible indulgence in mind, we chose colors that communicate taste, optimism, new ideas, and energy.

After building the foundation, we continued to create icons, digital advertisements, sales materials, powerpoint templates and more.

packaging design

At Formada, we have worked extensively in foodservice spaces and believe that the design of back-of-house products matters just as much as consumer facing packaging. The communication hierarchy might be unique, but building a brand happens on both sides of the fryer.

We developed this JIB (jug in box!) sticker to help Veri stand out in the kitchen, and related it back to some limited-run consumer facing packaging that we worked on as well.
